  • Memphis, TN, is home to Graceland, the mansion where Elvis Presley lived. It’s the 2nd most-visited homes in America, (White House #1)

  • TN is divided into three “Grand Divisions” — East, Middle, and West TN w/ distinctive culture, geography, and state Supreme Court representation.

  • The famous Jack Daniel’s whiskey is made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, which ironically is a “dry” county where the sale of alcohol is prohibited!

  • The “Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Sun Studio is where legendary artists Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and B.B. King

  • Tennessee is known for the Tennessee Walking Horse, a breed famous for its smooth gait. 

  • The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in the US with misty mountains, diverse wildlife, and scenic beauty.

  • Sevierville, TN, is the hometown of Dolly Parton. Nearby Pigeon Forge is home to Dollywood, a theme park she helped create

  • TN was a key battleground during the Civil War. The Battle of Shiloh was one of the war’s bloodiest battles.
